I’ve finally managed to implement comments for my blog. I’m still playing around with the code and especially the layout, but I think it’s an important step forward. The future will probably bring a few more features, like:

Improved layout
E-mail notifications for new comments
Trackback support

Update May 18, 2026: The original post had some comments, but they were lost when I switched to WordPress. Now that I'm switching back to a custom site (and disabling comments), I've restored the comments.

On a related sidenote: Ich bin hier über den RSS-Feed hin und irgendwie fehlt mir ein Link zum Rest/zur Startseite des Blogs, bzw. ein Hinweis, wo ich mich gerade überhaupt befinde.

Ja ... Die Artikelseiten waren lange Zeit nur ein Provisorium, um "Permalinks" anbieten zu können. Ich hab sie erstmal um das nötigste erweitert. (IE-Kompatibilität, kein zerschossenes Layout, Kommentare) Da fehlt aber auf jeden Fall noch einiges.

Danke übrigens für das Finden des ersten Bugs. ;) Die Skripte haben keine Umlaute vertragen.
